Although details of the Rolling Stones' 50th anniversary plans are still being kept tightly under wraps, the band has just released an interesting video of their new book, The Rolling Stones: 50. The 352-page hardcover book features over 700 images, and will be available on July 12th -- 50 years to the day of their first gig.

The Stones posted a statement about the book: "This is our story of fifty fantastic years. We started out as a blues band playing the clubs and more recently we've filled the largest stadiums in the world with the kind of show that none of us could have imagined all those years ago. Curated by us, it features the very best photographs and ephemera from and beyond our archives."
